devises and implements procedures for use in Australia and New Zealand, and possibly other countries, which may be used to determine the acceptability of programs leading to qualifications required for registration or practice as a pharmacist in the Australian States and Territories and in New Zealand;

•

reports to the APC on the above and any other matters referred to it by the APC;

•

conducts the evaluation of pharmacy schools, including inspection by site evaluation teams appointed by the Accreditation Committee; considers reports of its evaluators;

•

makes recommendations to the APC on accreditation of schools and programs; and

•

undertakes any other task referred to it by the APC.
