The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. To honour their achievements and progress, they'll showcase stories from renowned leaders in pharmacy education and those who have contributed to the APC over the 40 years. They'll conclude the series with a celebratory event in November.

With a history rich in innovation, the organisation prides itself in quality assurance, integrity and technical expertise in pharmacy education, accreditation and examination.

Chief Executive Officer, Bronwyn Clark has announced the significant milestone, recognising the value of those who contribute to APC's purpose of protecting the health of Australian communities.

"APC wouldn't be what it is today without the people who have contributed their time and expertise," says Ms Clark.

"I've had the privilege of leading the APC for the last 9 years as Chief Executive Officer. I have wonderful staff, a wonderful Board, Committees in exams and accreditation, and working groups. We have assessors who are pharmacists and academics from across Australia, who assess pharmacy programs, and we have subject matter experts writing and validating our exams.

"Throughout this year we'll share content with you about our story, our history, the people who have contributed and where we see pharmacy education moving," she said.
