Our ‘Pharmily’ extends beyond our permanent workforce. We also engage professionals to support our goals, including through contribution of your knowledge to our Board or committees, and helping our working and reference groups drill down into best practice to advance our objectives.

The Assessment Governance Committee (AGC) oversees APC's assessment system to ensure assessments are reliable, valid and defensible, aligned with best practice standards. Through its decision-making and oversight, the Committee plays an important role in ensuring that APC assessments for pharmacist registration are fair and reliable.
As a member, you will contribute to Committee decisions on assessment matters, including reviewing and approving assessment processes, analysing performance and quality assurance data, and providing recommendations to strengthen the assessment system over time.
This is a governance role focused on system-level oversight, rather than exam design or delivery.
Who should apply: We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise in assessment and governance who can contribute effectively to decision-making in a complex, regulated environment.
We welcome applications from both pharmacists and non-pharmacists, and seek a diverse mix of skills and experiences to support balanced decision-making across the Committee.

In this role, you will help ensure that APC exams appropriately assess the knowledge and skills required for safe and effective practice, supporting public safety and confidence in the profession.
Who should apply: We are seeking experienced pharmacists from community, hospital, and academic settings who are actively engaged in practice or education and bring strong clinical knowledge and professional judgement.
