The World Health Organization 1 declared the outbreak of COVID 19 a pandemic on 11 March 2020. Since the detection of the coronavirus outbreak in December of 2019, there have been over 200,000 confirmed cases of COVID 19 infection worldwide.

Candidates sitting APC examinations MUST comply with basic protective measures against the coronavirus disease issued by government requirements in the country wherever they sit for an APC examination. If information from the local country is not publicly available, candidates should refer to the World Health Organization’s (WHO) website.

In the event a testing centre is closed, candidates will be notified via email and additional information will follow.

If you are unable to attend an APC examination due to the impact of the coronavirus disease (COVID 19), please contact our exams team on exams@pharmacycouncil.org.au.

We recognise that our examinations involve bringing people from all over the world together which increases the risk of exposure to coronavirus disease (COVID 19). We are responding to this risk and we will continue to be guided by information from the World Health Organization and the Australian Government’s Department of Health.

Please refer to the APC Response to Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19) statement for additional information.
