Expression of Interest for Pharmacist Capability Framework public consultation opens

The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is pleased to announce that the expression of interest (EOI) to participate in the public consultation forums for the Pharmacist Capability Framework are now open. The Pharmacy Board of Australia has engaged APC to develop a Pharmacist Capability Framework, to be used for accreditation and general registration purposes.

The EOI to participate in the public forums will be open until Friday 26 September 2025. These forums will enable stakeholders to provide input into the development of the Framework. To ensure that a wide range of groups and individuals can contribute via the forums, APC will review all expressions of interest and will issue invitations from early October 2025. The four forums will ask attendees to consider the same questions in relation to the Draft Pharmacist Capability Framework. An individual does not need to attend more than one forum.

Public consultation papers, including a draft Pharmacist Capability Framework, will be published on APC's website in early November.
