This document shares our findings. We reviewed literature to develop best practice accreditation standards.

We examined accreditation models, degree structures and registration pathways across countries with comparable pharmacy education systems and well‑established accreditation processes.

We use this research to advance pharmacy education.

This document covers:

  • international accreditation models and frameworks
  • program structures and pathways to registration
  • governance, quality assurance and curriculum design
  • cultural safety, experiential learning and interprofessional practice
  • assessment approaches and competency expectations
  • alignment between APC and TEQSA standards

We used the previous 2018 literature review as the foundation, to form the basis for our cyclical review of our Accreditation Standards for Pharmacy Programs.
