The Eligibility Check fee will be separated into individual services. The total amount remains the same.

Effective date

Thursday 21 March 2024. Any candidates submitting their Eligibility Check application from this date will pay the new fees.

Any candidates who submitted their Eligibility Check prior to this date will not have to pay for the Skills Assessment Outcome, as they already paid for it with their initial application.

Credit

We are providing a $200 credit to candidates who submitted their Eligibility Check from 1 July 2023. This ensures that eligible candidates are credited for services they did not require. This credit can be used towards their next exam or any other fees related to their journey, such as cancellation fees.

About the credit:

  • Credit can be partially used.
  • Unused credit does not expire.
  • Credit is non-refundable.
  • Credit cannot be transferred to another person.

Eligibility

Only candidates who submitted their Eligibility Check from 1 July 2023 are eligible to receive a credit.

If you submitted your Eligibility Check before 1 July 2023, you will receive your Skills Assessment Outcome free of charge. You will not need to pay the new fee.

Candidates who are NOT eligible:

  • Candidates who received their Eligibility Check through the Skilled Migration incentive.
  • Exam candidates who do not require an Eligibility Check - New Zealand and Fiji KAPS/CAOP exam candidates.

  1. Book your exam and select your seat.
  2. Before you pay, email us to apply your credit. Do this as soon as possible. You will not lose your reserved seat.
  3. APC staff will apply your credit and will notify you via email.
  4. You then have 7 days to pay for your exam at the reduced fee.

Don’t worry, your seat will be completely secured whilst we apply your credit. However, once we apply it you must pay within 7 days.

APC staff may be very busy applying credits for many candidates. It may take a while. Please be patient with us whilst we work through this process.

As we have already provided a service, APC does not offer refunds on Eligibility Checks. We are voluntarily, retrospectively applying this benefit. It is also the safest and more secure way of providing this benefit.
