Assessment Pharmacist - job opportunity at APC

Join the APC Assessment Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmacy in Australia. This is a part time (0.6 FTE) fixed term appointment for 12 months.

As an Assessment Pharmacist, you will contribute to developing high-quality assessments that support the registration of pharmacists and help ensure the profession continues to meet the needs of our Australian communities. Working as part of a collaborative assessment team, you will:

• apply your clinical expertise to develop, review and validate assessment content that reflects contemporary pharmacy practice
• accurately assesses the knowledge, skills and professional judgement required for safe and effective practice.
  

About you

We're looking for experienced pharmacists who enjoy applying their clinical expertise in new ways, have a passion for quality and continuous improvement, and are motivated to contribute to the future of the pharmacy profession. While experience in assessment or education is beneficial, it is not essential. We'll provide the necessary training and help you develop your skills in assessment. We're looking for experienced practising pharmacists who bring:

• current patient care experience
• sound professional judgement
• critical thinking skills
• attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of APC policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively across APC and support the Assessment team in delivering organisational objectives and operational priorities.
