As pharmacists move into expanded scopes of practice, the pharmacy profession must embrace workplace-based assessments to demonstrate capability in new areas of practice.
Under the theme Influencing and supporting workforce development and wellbeing – the importance of “being in the room where it happens”, Associate Professor Sue Kirsa will explore this topic at the 2025 Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) annual Emeritus Professor Lloyd Sansom AO Distinguished Lecture Series.
A/Prof Kirsa, former APC Chair, will draw on work by APC and Monash University to highlight how Monash Health has led the development of workplace support, training, and assessments across diverse practice areas.
'Each year we are enlightened by leading changemakers in the pharmacy profession. Sue’s broad experience and expertise make this a must-attend event. Her insights into workplace-based learning and assessment are especially timely as the profession evolves to meet new healthcare demands,' said APC CEO, Bronwyn Clark.
Registrations are now open.
