Candidates eligible to sit the CAOP (Competency Assessment of Overseas Pharmacists) Exam can now sit the exam remotely.

After the success of the online proctored Intern Written Exam last year, the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) now offers online proctored exams to eligible CAOP candidates from the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland and the United States.

OnVUE exams allow candidates to conveniently take an exam in the comfort of their home or office while being monitored by an online proctor.

This pivotal change offers more flexibility to those who may have otherwise travelled substantial lengths to sit the exam. Prior to this, the CAOP exam was held in test centres throughout London, Australia and New Zealand.

No changes have been made to the content of the exam.

The next CAOP exam registrations open Tuesday 13 July 2021. For more information, see exam dates and centres.

The KAPS (Knowledge Assessment of Pharmaceutical Sciences) Exam will continue to be delivered at test centres in over 20 countries around the world.
