We're delighted to announce that the October Intern Written Exam will be held from the 17 - 21 October 2020. The session will offer both event-based and online proctored delivery modes. This means candidates can sit the exam either in a test centre or in the comfort of their own home or office.

We have also shortened the exam. The duration of the exam is now 2 hours instead of 3 hours. It has a total of 75 questions. For details, see the Intern Written Exam guide and sample papers.

A message from our CEO

In April we advised that the June and July exam sessions were cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. We truly felt for our candidates whose plans were suddenly disrupted and put on hold.

We appreciate everyone's patience whilst we have worked through our options and agreed on the best way forward. Our priority will always be you - our candidates and stakeholders. Your health and safety and that of our community will always come first.

Here's a message from our CEO, Bronwyn Clark.

With this disruption has come great opportunity. In collaboration with Pearson VUE we now have the option to deliver the Intern Written Exam remotely. We will use Pearson VUE's online proctoring platform, OnVUE

You can sit the online proctored exam anywhere that has:

  • a reliable device with a webcam
  • a strong internet connection, AND
  • a room where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the exam

Or if you'd rather, you can still sit our standard event-based exam in a test centre. See our Exam dates and centres page to find your closest test centre.

Please know that you can call us on 02 6188 4288. Our exams team are here to answer any of your questions.
