Registrations for the Australian Pharmacy Council's annual Emeritus Professor Lloyd Sansom AO Distinguished Lecture Series have now opened.
This year's event will feature Paul Sinclair AM, President of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) as its speaker. Sinclair, the first Australian to hold this global leadership position, will be drawing on his international experience to discuss pharmacy education and regulation, and the impact it has on practice.
The APC will also be announcing the recipients of the inaugural Dr Erica Sainsbury Awards. The awards have been established to recognise and reward leaders in pharmacy education and practice. Applications for the awards are still open until 5 pm on Friday 29 September.
"Through her work in pharmacy education as a lecturer, consultant, advisor and mentor, Erica transformed pharmacy education and the student experience. We are honoured to be announcing the recipients of the inaugural Dr Erica Sainsbury Awards this November," said APC CEO, Bronwyn Clark.
The 1 hour lecture will be followed by a reception.
