The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Pharmacist Journey Hub - a comprehensive, user-friendly resource designed to support overseas-trained pharmacists on their path to General Registration in Australia.

Everyone's journey is different and for some this process can be longer and more complex than expected - with multiple steps and organisations involved. This resource draws on information from across the sector into a centralised hub offering clarity and transparency from the very beginning.

Developed in collaboration with leading experts in pharmacy education and assessment, the Hub provides essential information including:

  • Key considerations before starting, such as costs, challenges, and commitments
  • Insights into living and working in Australia
  • Transparent information on visas, sponsorships, and supervised practice arrangements
  • A breakdown of relevant organisations and when to engage with them
  • Important next steps after achieving General Registration

As the trusted authority in pharmacy education and assessment, APC is committed to keeping candidates safe, informed, and supported every step of the way.

The Hub is for overseas-trained pharmacists and those involved in their migration and registration journey.
