Media release: Tools to support intern learning - workplace based assessment

The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) will be delivering their second set of webinars on intern workplace-based assessment (WBA) tools on Monday 6 February and Tuesday 14 February between 6:30 and 7:30 in the evening.

The webinars will assist preceptors and interns in their understanding of how to the use the WBA tools which are now part of Intern Training Programs (ITPs).

Pharmacists who are not currently supervising an intern are also welcome.

Webinar aims:

• Preceptors will leave feeling more confident in helping interns to consolidate learning and in the decisions they make about intern readiness to practise independently.
• Interns will leave with a better understanding of how to take control of their own learning and contribute to providing high quality care healthcare.
